Meet Ms. Aguilar
My name is Karen Aguilar, the dyslexia interventionist at Blazier Primary. I have been providing interventions to students with reading difficulties for the past eight years. Previously, I taught kindergarten, first and second grade. I have been in education for 25 years.
I was raised and went to college in Los Angeles, California and moved to Austin 19 years ago. I live with my husband, three young adult children, and my little yorkie in South Austin. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family, walking in nature and reading.

Meet Mr. ReRucha
Hello!
I’m Oscar ReRucha, one of the bilingual dyslexia interventionists at the Intermediate campus. This is my 22nd year in education and 5th year at Blazier. Prior to working at Blazier, I worked at Becker for 14 years, UT Elementary for 1 year and McBee for 2 years. I did my student teaching at Sunset Valley and Pickle Elementary.
I am a native south Austinite, having attended St. Elmo Elementary School, Porter Middle School and Travis High School. Go Rebels! I then went on to college in Austin and earned the following:

Meet Ms. Hernandez
My name is Sally Hernandez, and I have been teaching for 18 years. I am one of the dyslexia specialists at Blazier. I grew up in Dallas and moved to Austin in 2011. My husband's name is Daniel, and we have two wonderful children-Jacob, who is 16, and Brianna, who is 22. We also share our home with our two loving dogs, Charlie and Kizzy.
Helping students develop their reading skills and reach their fullest potential brings me great joy. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking and reading fictional stories.
