Zachary Ochoa
Hello, My name is Coach Ochoa and I am one of the PE teachers at Blazier Primary. I graduated from Texas State University in 2020, and I am entering my 5th year at Blazier. I enjoy teaching PE because I am passionate about sports, fitness and teaching students to become health literate individuals.
Some of my favorite things include Italian food, sour candy, and watching sports. I am a huge Sports fan. A few of my favorite teams include the San Antonio Spurs, Houston Astros, and of course the best team on the planet, the Dallas Cowboys.
Outside of the classroom I enjoy spending time with friends and family and cheering on the Dallas Cowboys every Sunday (this is our year).
I look forward to a great school year full of learning and fun experiences in PE.

My name is Ms. Diamond. This will be my tenth year teaching music in Elementary school. The prior school I taught at, I was the Dept Chair for the music department and also mentored various teachers.
Outside of the classroom, I perform in a band at venues all over/outside of Austin, TX. I love spending time with my partner, step kids, nieces and nephews. I have a deep desire to inspire students and develop musically with my kiddos.
I have lived in NYC and Nashville to develop as a musician and I play various instruments. I got my master’s degree in higher education and a bachelors in broadcast journalism with a minor in music.

Hello, I’m Ms. Smith! This will be my 12th year at Blazier and my 17th year in education. I have worked in many different educational positions: Pre-K teacher, Special Education TA, DL Kindergarten teacher and Art teacher.
I was born and raised in Austin and graduated from The University of Texas at Austin. I have 3 daughters. In my spare time, you will find me baking, crafting, or working out.

Howdy Howdy Blue Jays!
My name is Coach Alaniz, and this will be my 3rd year teaching P.E. at Blazier Elementary (Primary). I graduated from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (GO VAQUEROS!) in 2022, with a Master of Science in Kinesiology. I love teaching PE, and teaching the importance of exercise, movement, and how to manage/live a healthy style through sports and games. Other things I enjoy are going on walks with my wife and dog on Saturday and Sunday mornings. I am also a huge soccer and baseball fan! You will always find me watching Yankees and Austin FC games when they are on.
