Hello, my name is Angelica Aguilar and I am proud to be a part of the Blazier Bluejay community! I was born and raised right here in Austin and have lived in South Austin for most of my life. I am currently married to a fellow educator and together we have 3 beautiful daughters and 1 cranky Shih -Tzu. I have a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Texas at Austin (Hook 'Em!), a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction in Literacy from The University of Texas at Arlington and I am currently earning a National Board Certification in Early Childhood Education.

Katie Schulze
My name is Katie Schulze, and I’m an ESL Kindergarten teacher. Originally from Houston, Texas, I moved to this area for college and graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. Outside of the classroom, I love spending time outdoors, especially going on walks. I enjoy being with my friends and family whenever I can!

Nathan Dahill
Hi, my name is Nathan Dahill. I am from all over Texas, but I spent the majority of my childhood in Dripping Springs. I graduated from Millikin University in 2022 with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Acting, but after working as a behavior technician for children with autism, I was quickly was drawn towards teaching. I recently completed University of Texas's Longhorns in Residence graduate-level program, where I got to assist and co-teach with Ms. Aguilar throughout the last academic year. I am so grateful to now be an official member of Blazier's Kindergarten team. Outside of school, I enjoy working out, exploring the outdoors, playing games with friends and family, and watching the Astros with my wife and our dog, Tajin.

Veronica Rivera
Hello! My name is Veronica Rivera. I am originally from El Salvador and moved to Austin 22 years ago. I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Bilingual Education, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics. I live with my husband and our daughter, who is a third grader at Blazier Intermediate. I love spending time with my family, traveling to new places, and reading new books. Every summer, my family and I take a trip together to a place we’ve never been before.
Mi nombre es Veronica Rivera. Nací en El Salvador y me mudé a vivir a Austin hace 22 años atrás. Me gradué de la universidad de Texas en Austin. Complete tres carreras una en educación bilingüe, otra en psicología y la otra en lingüística. Vivo con mi esposo e hija, quien es una estudiante de tercer grado en la escuela Blazier Intermediate. Me encanta pasar tiempo con mi familia, viajar a lugares nuevos y leer libros. Mi familia y yo siempre planeamos un viaje juntos en verano a un lugar donde nunca hemos ido antes.

Giselle Chavez
Hello! My name is Giselle Chavez, and I am proud to be a kindergarten teacher at Blazier Elementary. This is my fourth year teaching kindergarten, and I truly enjoy helping young learners grow and thrive. I’m originally from Waco, Texas, and moved to Austin about four years ago. I earned my degree from Sam Houston State University.
In my free time, I love spending time outdoors, traveling, and being with my friends and family. I enjoy watching my students grow in confidence, curiosity, and independence—there’s nothing more rewarding than being part of their first steps in learning.

My name is Ms. Cox and I'm so excited to be here at Blazier. I'm originally from Atlanta, Ga, but Austin, Tx quickly became my home. Education has always been my passion and I have a bachelors in Early Childhood Education. This is my 14th year teaching and my 5th year at Blazier doing Kinder. I am a cat mom of 2 rambunctious cats.
