Hello! My name is Daniella Rettig, Im originally from Monterrey, Mexico, I moved to Austin four years ago, and I am so proud to be on the second grade team in Blazier Elementary. I graduated from college with a degree in Bilingual Education in 2019. In my free time, I enjoy discovering new coffee shops and restaurants, I love to go to Austin FC games with my husband and friends, walk in trails with my dog Luna and watch movies. Hello! My name is Adriana Gutierrez and I am proud to be a part of the 2nd grade team. This is my fifth year in 2nd grade and my seventh year with AISD. I was born and raised in a bilingual household in Corpus Christi and currently live here in South Austin with my small family. I graduated with my Bachelors from Texas State University and a Masters in Bilingual Education at Texas A&M International University. Hello! My name is Ms. Natal, and I am a proud member of the 2nd grade team! I am from Lockhart, Tx, better known as the Barbecue Capital! However, I am currently living in the outskirts of South Austin. I am also a proud graduate from The University Texas at Austin, Hook Em’ Horns! I received my undergraduate degree in Applied Learning and Development in the Spring of 2024, and I am currently back at UT Austin pursuing a master’s degree in Early Childhood Education. I grew up in Austin, Texas and love everything about it here. I graduated from Texas State University with a bachelor's in Elementary Education ESL. I’m a lover of being active and anything fashionable. I practice a positive relationship with mental health by meditating, staying creative, and being around friends and family. I have always wanted to be a teacher and work with children to reach new heights. Three words I would use to describe myself as a teacher would be determined, passionate, and caring. Sydney Huff
Hi everyone! My name is Sydney Huff, and I am so excited to be part of the 2nd-grade Blazier team this year! I am from Austin, Texas, and graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University. I moved back from South Florida last year and now live in South Austin. I have always had a passion for working with children and creating a classroom where every student feels safe, valued, and excited to learn. I believe that learning should be engaging, meaningful, and fun. My goal is to help each child grow academically while also building confidence, kindness, and a love of learning that lasts beyond the classroom. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, attending concerts, reading, and relaxing with my cats.

Hi! My name is Phoebe Castellano, and I am so happy to be a part of the 2nd grade team. This will be my 12th year of teaching and 2nd full year at Blazier. I taught five years of 1st grade in San Antonio, and five years in Houston in 2nd grade. I am originally from San Antonio where I graduated from UTSA.
